How the Implantation vs Period Score Works
This tool estimates ovulation from LMP + cycle length (or uses your known ovulation date), calculates DPO for the day bleeding started, then combines timing and symptom heuristics. It is designed for early-bleeding assessment and not for diagnosis.
Timing model (DPO)
Implantation weight: triangle peaking near 9 DPO (common range 6–12 DPO)
Period likelihood receives higher timing weight closer to the expected period (about 14 DPO). Bleeding characteristics (flow intensity, product use, cramps, and clots) then adjust the final split.
Important limitation
Implantation bleeding is not universal, and many causes of vaginal bleeding are unrelated to implantation. Use this as an educational guide only, and follow up with pregnancy testing and clinician advice.
